Alexandra Kirby is a singer-songwriter from seaside Cape Ann, MA with folk and alternative rock influences. She released a debut solo album this year, Light Cycles, and is back in the studio with friends working on a multi-instrumental extended version. She performs across a range of musical styles and contexts, inviting audiences to explore the undulating ocean waves of light and life: dissonance and harmony, individual and universal, tension and release. Through these contrasts, her music reflects on the human condition with hope for the future. At home, she enjoys life with her husband, kids, and a small menagerie of animals and plants.
