Joshua Hiatt is a Bangor, Maine-based singer-songwriter whose music blends alternative rock, indie, classic rock, and occasional heavier influences. After more than 25 years of writing songs, he's finally bringing a lifetime of music to the stage and the studio. Joshua spent the early 2000s performing with local bands including The Gift, Power Station, Underground Rangers, and Lampstand, chasing the dream of making it in rock music. Life eventually led him into education, where he's spent the past 17 years as a high school history teacher. But the songs never stopped coming. Now he's recording his first full-length collection of original music in over 10 years and returning to live performance with the same passion that first inspired him as a young musician. His songs range from intimate acoustic storytelling to energetic alternative rock, drawing inspiration from artists like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, The Beatles, and The Strokes.
